Hi there, I'm Kati. As a licensed mental health counselor in Massachusetts and a telehealth provider in Vermont, I am dedicated to supporting you on your journey to improved mental health. I earned my master's degree in mental health counseling from Walden University and my bachelor's in social work and psychology from Elms College. My approach to therapy is eclectic, but I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing. I also believe strongly in trauma-informed care, ensuring that your experiences are acknowledged and respected throughout our work together.
I have extensive experience working with a wide range of issues including addiction, anger management, antisocial behavior, anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum support, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, depression, family relationships, grief and bereavement, life transitions, PTSD, intimate and romantic relationships, psychosis and schizophrenia, sex and intimacy issues, stress, suicidal ideation and self-harming, trauma, developmental disabilities, gender identity, and traumatic brain injury.
When you work with me, you can expect a compassionate and collaborative environment where we form a partnership to address your unique needs. My goal is to help you develop the tools and strategies necessary to navigate life's challenges and achieve your personal goals. I am here to listen, support, and guide you every step of the way.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my pets, hanging out with friends, and indulging in nail art. These activities help me recharge and stay grounded, allowing me to bring my best self to our sessions.
I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and support you on your path to better mental health. Let's take this journey together.
