As a counselor, I see each person as an individual with their own personal goals and unique challenges. I subscribe to an eclectic counseling philosophy, but lean towards a person-centered approach, using unconditional positive regard by showing empathy, acceptance, and support to the client under any and all circumstances. My approach is to guide others in finding their path to self-empowerment and peaceful living through behavioral awareness, self-learning, coping skills and techniques, stress-reduction, mindfulness, and motivation.
