Clinical Social Work/Therapist

Hello and welcome! My name is Kelsey Spinks, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (MSW) dedicated to supporting adults through their mental health journeys. My approach to therapy is rooted in open-mindedness, empathy, humor, and understanding. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative process where we work together to explore your concerns and develop a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and life circumstances.

With a specialization in substance use disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and general anxiety disorders, I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to our sessions. I am passionate about helping individuals find what works best for them, fostering a space where you can feel safe to express yourself and grow.

Throughout my career, I have witnessed the transformative power of self-awareness and self-compassion. Clients who embrace these qualities often find themselves living a more value-based lifestyle and gaining a deeper understanding of themselves. My goal is to help you achieve this level of insight and self-acceptance, guiding you towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.

In our work together, you can expect a supportive and non-judgmental environment where your voice is heard and respected. I am here to help you navigate life's challenges, whether you are dealing with addiction, anxiety, depression, PTSD, or any other mental health concern. We will explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and work towards creating positive change.

Outside of my professional life, I value the importance of being gentle with oneself. It's a principle I encourage my clients to adopt as well. Remember, it's okay to take things one step at a time and to be kind to yourself along the way.

If you are ready to take the next step in your mental health journey, I am here to support you. Let's work together to find the path that leads to your well-being and happiness.
