Kristine V. Spano, Psy.D. treats adults (18+) in her private practice located in Philadelphia. She specializes in treating a host of psychological issues including anxiety, depression, and difficulty navigating work and relationship stress. She draws on her cognitive behavioral training as well as her trauma training to integrate Western psychotherapeutic principles (Cognitive behavior therapy, Stoicism) and Eastern principles (i.e., mindfulness, sensorimotor therapy).
Dr. Spano is a licensed psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania. She earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to her work as a psychologist, she had a career in education, working at The Pingry School in New Jersey, where she simultaneously earned her masters in counseling at Rutgers University. Dr. Spano also has experience in industry, having managed the Analyst and Associate programs for Citigroup from 2007 to 2008.
The Director of Psychotherapy at Rittenhouse Psychiatric Associates. She is an active member of the Philadelphia Society of Clinical Psychologists (PSCP). She earned her B.A. in Classics from Drew University.
She has also met all requirements for the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) and is able to provide telepsychology under the authority of PSYPACT in most states.
