I believe therapy should be an affirming space where we can explore our lived experiences and how we relate to the world around us. I believe you are the expert on your life. You possess deep knowledge of your identity, values, strengths, challenges, and how they interact as you move through life. Through cultivating honest dialogue, mindful reflection, and self-compassion, we can develop tools to help you navigate life’s obstacles in a way that is authentic to you.

My clinical experience primarily focuses on addressing anxiety, depression, stress management, identity exploration, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions. I engage all clients with a culturally affirming, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach. As a Black man, I am passionate about supporting individuals from marginalized communities who navigate systemically oppressive structures that disproportionately impact their mental health. Additionally, I have a specialized interest in serving those working in high-intensity settings who seek to optimize their performance while managing stress and creating work-life balance. My professional experience in management consulting and clinical training in college athletics provide a unique perspective that helps me connect with clients navigating similar situations.

Our lived experience is a complex web – one that can easily get tangled up. Your web is intricate and unique, but you don’t have to face the challenge alone. If something here resonates with you and you are interested in working with me, I encourage you to reach out to discuss whether I would be the right fit for you.
