Imagine beginning every day feeling energized, confident and ready to take on whatever comes your way. You might feel better about your progress with life goals, be able create meaningful and close relationships, maintain healthier habits, and have a regular sense of pride and accomplishment. You know you have so much potential, but may not know exactly how to reach it. I hope to join you on your journey by providing you with an emotionally safe space where you are able to authentically express yourself as well as feel supported and not judged. My clinical style is active and collaborative and is rooted in CBT, Narrative, and Solution Focused Therapies. I also offer EMDR as well as gender affirming surgery(GAS) letters and immigration evaluations. Ultimately, my intent is to provide you with skills and tools that will promote sustainable personal growth. Though I have worked with a diverse array of populations, most of my experience has been with survivors of traumatic experiences, anxiety/depression, people in recovery from substances, and the LGBTQ community. Anyone looking for self improvement or self exploration in any capacity is also welcome. Contact me today for a free 15 minute consultation.
You may appear confident on the outside, but internally struggle with self-doubt, anxiety, or fear of rejection. Many of my clients feel “too much” and not enough at the same time, which can show up as overgiving, withdrawing, or difficulty setting boundaries. I work with high-achieving individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, and grief—often expressed through overthinking, emotional avoidance, or disconnection. These patterns are often rooted in early experiences, cultural pressures, or navigating marginalized identities, all of which can shape how we view ourselves and relate to others. Together, we work to build a more grounded sense of self, increase emotional awareness, and shift away from survival patterns like numbing, overcontrolling, or checking out. My goal is to help you feel more confident, connected, and at ease in your life and relationships. I especially enjoy working with BIPOC clients, Asian Americans, first-generation individuals, and those exploring identity and belonging. I offer a free, no-pressure consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
Whatever it is that has brought you here, welcome! I work with folks facing a range of issues, with a specialty in trauma, anxiety, family conflict, LGBTQIA+ identity, and relationship issues. If you experience stress from caring for/about others and our environment, I am ready to support you. I am a climate-aware therapist, meaning I recognize climate grief and eco-anxiety as legitimate responses to a global crisis and important areas of attention in therapy to help you better navigate our changing world. In therapy, I attend to ways in which the ideas, actions and policies in our communities, cultures and families can be sources of both pain and resilience. I am committed to providing queer- and LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and I believe in the collaborative exploration of all intersections of identity that feel important to you. My experience informs my work. My career in international humanitarian aid and gender-based violence lends a unique perspective to trauma-informed care. Trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, I bring neuroscience and the mind-body connection into therapy. Our work will explore how the body holds past experiences and how it can help you heal. I also support people in therapeutically integrating psychedelic experiences. I look forward to getting started!
Sometimes pain is overwhelming, especially as a young adult. You might be feeling sad, worried, or like no one else in the world understands. Maybe you are struggling in school or work, or having a hard time making friends. Or maybe you are in a difficult family situation, or are completely overwhelmed by what you want your future to be like. Regardless of where your pain is from, you may be noticing things like withdrawing from others or even physically harming yourself because you haven’t found better ways to cope with your feelings. Or maybe you’ve just noticed that you’re having more anxiety or sadness than usual. However you are experiencing your pain right now, I welcome the opportunity to work with you to form new patterns and explore the pain that lies underneath your current ones. Difficulties in life sometimes can’t be avoided, but you don’t have to face them alone. If we work together, you will have the opportunity to explore your thoughts and emotions in a caring atmosphere. We can think together about what might best help you work through the difficulties you are facing so that you can begin creating a life for yourself that is both enjoyable and fulfilling. I like to find creative ways to help you express your thoughts and what you need. For some people that can be talking about thoughts and feelings directly and learning about coping skills, but it can also include artwork or even finding memes that resonate with you. One of my goals is to use what you already enjoy and find helpful to personalize our work to fit you. My sessions are feedback-informed. During our first session, we will talk about which approaches might work best for you and talk about what our future sessions might look like. Throughout our work together, we will check in about what is working well and what changes you might want to make to help our time to feel more effective and supportive. I invite you to explore my website for more information on working with me as well as my background and training. I welcome you contacting me with questions or to talk about if I might be a good fit to work with you.
You’re never enough. Or at least that’s how it feels. Maybe it's how much you make, how much you do, or how hard you work. Maybe it's someone else telling you that. Maybe it's your own inner voice. In any case, you're suffering—either because you're doing everything you can, or you're struggling to do anything at all. And in both cases, you feel like a failure. If this sounds like you, you're not alone. I will help you turn the suffering into struggling. Both are inevitable in this life, but struggling leads to growth and, ultimately, forward momentum. I have considerable experience with AD/HD, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and substance use. I'm comfortable working with a wide variety of ages and backgrounds, and I also bring to my work a strong understanding of issues related to race, ethnicity, and LGBT+ identities. Therapy should pay more attention to strengths than deficits. If life is an uphill battle, then we'll acknowledge your effort of trudging up that hill. I see therapy as two experts working together. If I'm an expert in mental health, you're the expert in your own life.

More specifically, I provided individual sessions, family sessions, treatment planning, referrals, collateral calls, as needed. I'm a PhD psychologist, with advanced training beyond my doctorate from Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. My orientation is relational, psychodynamic therapy. This means I focus with you on whatever dynamics might have been set in motion when you were younger as well as with present day difficulties. I work with people who are struggling with feelings of sadness and anxiety, worries about self esteem, identity, friendships, relationships and career issues among many other things. Sometimes there are struggles with issues about being away from home at school, or issues about entering adulthood. I am happy to try and help with the things troubling you.I've worked with many students both undergraduates and graduate students and enjoy helping young adults sort through what might be troubling to find a more satisfying and happier way of being.
I work primarily with those suffering from chronic illness. Difficult to treat medical conditions such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic Lyme disease, multiple sclerosis, Lupus, etc. are often poorly understood, and it can be very difficult for patients to find the help and support they need. I teach my clients tools for coping with and managing every day life with these conditions, in addition to mind body medicine practices to help alleviate symptoms and to decrease stress. I have recently started offering Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy as a way to cope with life stressors or trauma.
Life transitions—whether starting college, adjusting to new environments, navigating relationships, transitioning to a new place—can feel exciting but also overwhelming. I also bring extensive experience supporting international students as they cope with the emotional impact of relocation and cultural adjustment. My approach is tailored to each person and emphasizes the mind–body connection. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), emotional regulation techniques, mindfulness and body-based practices, and Expressive Arts Therapy. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where you can reflect on your experiences, build resilience, and take meaningful steps toward growth and balance. Through a collaborative process shaped around your needs, we will work together toward your goals and support your unique journey. What if getting better didn't mean spending years talking about everything that's ever gone wrong? I work with college and grad students to build real, lasting change by providing insight and skills that actually help. With over a decade of clinical work in the US and abroad, I've helped young adults manage anxiety, quiet the perfectionism and imposter syndrome that follow them into every exam and internship, while creating a healthy type of confidence that remains under pressure. My clients describe working with me as supportive, direct, collaborative, and nothing like what they expected therapy to be. We figure out what's driving the pattern. Then we work on changing it. I specialize in: anxiety, burnout and stress, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. My approach pulls from CBT, ACT, Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness, grounded in a trauma-informed model. You don't have to have it figured out to start. Currently offering Online Therapy throughout Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Vermont, and Florida. Whether you are in Boston, NYC, or Denver, I am ready when you are.

I have specific training and several years of experience working in college counseling centers. I work through a Client-Centered and Trauma-Informed lens to help my clients understand the relationship between their life experiences and worldview with their current struggles. My goal is to help you find new ways to perceive old situations and create a bridge toward resilience. I assist clients in navigating depression, stress, life transitions, relationship distress, trauma and struggles related to their life stage. I am a short-term therapist who works specifically with clients with chronic health conditions. Over the course of 20 sessions, we learn all about what is happening in your body and brain, learn and practice coping skills to manage anxiety related to your chronic medical condition, and have the option to complete hypnotherapy for chronic illness as well. If you are struggling with mental health related to a chronic health condition, and especially if you are experiencing high amounts of anxiety and low quality of life related to health symptoms, you will be a great fit for what I provide. If you have never done therapy before, or if you have found that your current therapist doesn’t quite “get it,” and you’re hoping to work with someone that has an intimate knowledge of chronic illness and hospital systems, then you will be a great fit. I also work alongside your full-time therapist if you have a therapist you love and would like to stay with while we complete our work together. I am also a good fit for someone who is specifically seeking out an LGBTQ therapist. I only offer virtual therapy at this time.
Are you someone who knows how you'd like things to be, but have a hard time getting there? You are definitely not alone. Change is hard. The good news is that change is also possible. I specialize in working with female-identified college students and other adults who are successful in many ways, but have had challenges sticking with counseling in the past. This could be for different reasons, such as difficulties trusting the process of therapy or difficulty establishing a trusting relationship that allows for fully engaging in counseling. Together, we can create a space where change feels possible and progress feels sustainable, whether in short-term solution-focused work or longer-term therapy. I worked in higher education for over 20 years, so I have a strong understanding of campus life and the student experience. If you believe that I could be a good match for you, please reach out and schedule a free 20 minute consultation to discuss your goals and hopes for therapy. If you go to my website, you can schedule it yourself.
