Thanks for clicking! Feeling like you're not growing? Have you hit a snag or is there a barrier that is keeping you from meeting your goals? I'd love to help! I would like to help you reach the longer-lasting effects that are the consequences of an insight-based and action-oriented approach to counseling. Let's figure out what happened, how it's affecting you, and what we can do together to help you overcome it, learn from it, and grow. My specialty is Gestalt psychotherapy. I use this model to help clients understand how they might be unhelpfully reacting to bad events or people and learn to overcome those reactions so as to become stronger individuals. Digging deep is part of this orientation to therapy, but only at your pace. I will be with you through this and through your growth. I would like to build a positive therapeutic relationship with you so that we can help you meet your goals of increased insight and self-exploration. The process of finding a matching counselor is definitely overwhelming. I look forward to talking and meeting you! Feel free to call me for a free consultation. I was both the traditional and non-traditional student in my college career that struggled with balancing it all; work, social life, trying to be healthy, get good grades and discovery myself. I wish I knew then what I know now and that is, you may not need to balance but distribute, prioritize, and compartmentalize! We are not just a "talk therapy" practice, we believe in providing tools and skills to get through the life YOU want effectively. Let us help you discover your journey that aligns with your wants, desires, needs, and values.

He has also helped students overcome mental health challenges including procrastination, career-uncertainty, sleep difficulties, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, loneliness, and transitioning to life after graduating. Finding the right therapist is important but it can also be overwhelming. Sometimes we know we need help but not what would be helpful, or what the right approach would be. I encourage you to take a chance and reach out to see if we might be a good fit.
Reach out if you have experienced a loss or difficult transition if you are struggling to set boundaries or express your needs, if you are struggling with difficult emotions or if you just aren’t feeling like yourself. It is our goal to support you in exploring your experiences, releasing things that you may have been carrying, setting goals you want to achieve, and identifying patterns and beliefs that are creating barriers. Our role as therapists is to provide a safe, judgment-free, and confidential space for you to process vulnerable thoughts and emotions. Our approach is person-centered and focuses on building a supportive relationship while using cognitive behavioral theory as a framework. We specialize in trauma therapy and work with individuals experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress. Some of the modalities used include EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. Let us help you to know and be present with yourself.
You don’t have to navigate this alone. Whether you're feeling stuck, anxious, grieving, questioning your identity, or overwhelmed by life transitions, therapy can be a space to slow down and reconnect with yourself. I work with college students, professionals, and adults—especially those in the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities—who are seeking deeper insight, relief, and a renewed sense of meaning. My style is warm, collaborative, and direct. I bring a trauma-informed, relational approach to our work, integrating elements of psychodynamic therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I’ll help you explore how past experiences may still be showing up in the present and support you in making empowered, values-based choices for your future. Clients often come to me for support with anxiety, trauma, identity concerns, grief, depression, relationship issues, and career struggles. I offer virtual therapy to clients located in Pennsylvania and any PsyPact participating state. If you're ready to begin—or even just curious about what therapy might look like—I invite you to reach out. Let's see if we're a good fit.

I am a student therapist pursuing my doctorate under the supervision of Dr. Chelsea Chase. I am currently working with Avellar Warden Psychological Associates. I empower clients by working collaboratively and allowing you to direct the session. This collaboration is fueled by my attunement to our therapeutic relationship and the safety of the therapeutic space. Our work together will cultivate a creative way for you to express your feelings. I work to help connect the mind, body, and spirit as we explore what comes up. Through this process, you will learn ways to identify feelings, challenge stuck points, and create meaningful change in your life. This will be accomplished through inquiry, encouraging self-determination, and incorporating skills training such as mindfulness to better the mind-body connection. I am well-equipped to help individuals who struggle to articulate emotions by utilizing creative modalities and mindfulness practices that will be unique to each client. Clients who would benefit most would be those who intellectualize problems, are open to exploring past feelings and experiences, seek to understand behavioral patterns, want help maintaining interpersonal relationships, or desire deeper growth and self-discovery. Outside of therapy, my interests include camping, hiking, spending time outside, drawing and painting places I’ve visited, and collecting patches from travels. I also love listening to music and experimenting with cooking.

Are you feeling overwhelmed or depressed recently? Do you need someone who actually listens to your problems? Do you have questions about that random mental health related Tik Tok video you saw last night? I am a therapist who specializes in working with young adults who are feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, or just want someone to process their thoughts with. I believe therapy is for everyone! I pride myself on being an empathetic and responsive listener in session. If you chose me as your therapist you can expect me to be casual and allow you to lead the topics of our sessions.
People seek therapy when they are in pain. This pain may show up as anxiety, depression, loneliness, compulsive behaviors, addiction or a combination of these. My job as your therapist is to meet you where you are and to understand your experience, your pain, and to help you move forward. The goal is to create a collaboration in which you have the support and safety to begin to challenge thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors that may be holding you back and causing suffering. I will guide you in this work with warmth, humor, respect, and acceptance. I work with a variety of modalities, including psychodynamic, person-centered therapy and more symptom-focused modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. However, as with all therapies, it is the relationship we create that is most vital. I have limited evening and Sunday availability, but I primarily see clients during the day on weekdays. In your initial visit we will talk about your goals and challenges and you can get a sense of how I work. I look forward to meeting you.
