My aim as a therapist is to walk with you on the path of challenge, building connection to your most authentic self and developing resourcing along the way. In our work together, we will identify internal dialogue, self-narrative, and strengths in order to fortify your connection to yourself and others.

Hi! My name is Alicia, and I want to meet you. Yes, you! College can be intense. You're away from home with the pressure to succeed and do well, but there's also dealing with roommates, parties, and being around people who resemble aliens. You know, they just don't get you and you've never encountered anyone quite like them before. On top of this, you may be the first in your family to go to college. You can't admit to them that it's hard. They had all their hopes and dreams riding on you. So where to go? Come to therapy! Yes, therapy. It may be your first time talking to someone, but I promise it helps to tell someone what you're thinking and what you're feeling. College doesn't have to be scary, and you don't have to go through it alone. We can figure it out together. I am a licensed clinical social worker who has worked with many college students, especially those who identify as first-gen and/or veterans. Therapy with me is conversational. In sessions, you can speak freely. I'm not into judging. That would probably make me a lousy therapist. I offer thoughtful reflection and point out patterns in your behavior that may not be the most helpful, and then we problem-solve and strategize solutions to help get you feeling better. I can also teach you skills to help when your emotions feel overwhelming.

Hi, welcome to my practice! My main goal is to help you rediscover your true self. My approach to psychotherapy is holistic. Healing is most effective if it addresses the full range of the human experience, including body, mind and spirit. This understanding is rooted in my personal journey of healing in different wisdom traditions of the world. I have received training in shamanic traditions of South, Central, and North America. I completed my yoga teacher training in India, studied massage therapy in Thailand and have practiced Chinese martial arts for several years. Additionally, I worked for three years as a wilderness field guide in a wilderness treatment program with and emphasis on addiction. In my practice, I focus on somatic or body-based therapy, as well internal family systems and transpersonal psychotherapy. Some of my areas of expertise are trauma, addiction, sexuality, identity, anxiety and depression. I do talk therapy, as well as ketamine and cannabis-assisted therapy. I am devoted to being an unconditional support to my clients, walking beside them as they heal their deepest wounds and rediscover the wisdom of their body along the way.

A therapy session with me always starts with you. I want you to feel safe and comfortable as you share your situation. While making that first call to a therapist is difficult, most people feel great relief once they do. My main focus is Women in College, processing their challenges and moving toward who they want to become. My goal for you, is to help you find relief quickly. I work with people facing a variety of challenges, including: Anxiety, Life Transitions, Stress, Conflict, Trauma and Childhood Trauma. I offer support, encouragement, and guidance. Therapy is not about living a stress-free life, but rather learning how to navigate that stress with confidence and skill. The work we do is interactive, and I will encourage you to explore options, opportunities and choices. We will work together to help you create a sense of calm, self-assurance and stability as you navigate your life and the issues that have brought you in to meet with me. In my experience, clients I have done EMDR therapy with have had quicker, more effective and longer lasting results than traditional talk therapy. Release the past, calm the present, and learn to trust your Inner Wisdom! Call or text Tenaya at: 720-440-0080 Telehealth (computer sessions) available.

Clients who I work best with want to know something about themselves. They may be suffering with any number of symptoms, but also have a curiosity. Maybe there is a sense of something still to be discovered. Through my work with Inner World Building, a hands on, active, somatic therapy, the unknown can be known, felt and expressed in a way that words can't. Not sure if this approach is for you? Feel free to try a demo session and decide for yourself if the method will be useful. The base of this therapy is making, building in the sand and with the figures; not talk therapy. But talking and integrating one's experience is an additive important part of the process.

Hey! I’m Tim, and I specialize in helping high schoolers, college students, and young adults find meaning and feel more grounded. Life as a young person can be tough. You might be struggling with anxious thoughts and feelings, navigating your relationships and responsibilities, and building your identity. It’s understandable if you feel overwhelmed by these things, and therapy can help. I provide a friendly, nonjudgemental space to help you learn more about yourself, create change, and ultimately feel better. I have extensive experience working with students at CU Boulder or BVSD schools. I also have personal experience in therapy as a young adult, so I deeply understand how challenging this time in life can be, and how much therapy can help. I work hard to make sure that each of our sessions together will feel productive, cathartic, and even enjoyable. Therapy with me consists of lots of learning, healthy confrontation, and usually some laughter. Our work together can help you take tangible steps towards your goals.
