As your therapist, I am here to support and encourage you on this journey. Person-centered therapy offers you a safe place to develop self-awareness and confidence, engage in problem-solving, and identify interventions that can improve your academic success and overall wellbeing. I support clients with anxiety, trauma reprocessing, family and relationship dynamics, and attachment/ inner child/ parts work. I enjoy helping clients "free themselves" from stuck parts or narratives, build self-confidence, heal childhood or relational wounds, and feel empowered in your own strengths instead of a "problem to fix." My approach draws on a variety of modalities including IFS, narrative therapy, strengths-based, and somatic/ body work. My style is relational, warm, and easy going. I believe healing happens within the context of authentic and supportive relationship. I aim to make our time together filled with curiosity and compassion. I welcome (and highly value!) the incorporation of any cultural or spiritual identity you deem important. I have both personal and professional experience with a variety of cultural backgrounds, and I am bilingual English/ Spanish. Please reach out to schedule a free consultation through my Psychology Today, linked at the end of this web page!
My approach in working with clients is to explore and understand their psychological experiences. In addition, I use psychoeducation and neuroeducation to help clients intellectually understand why they are experiencing what they are experiencing, then collaborate on an actionable plan to change undesired behaviors and thought patterns. I incorporate mind-body interventions to help clients manage their symptoms. My therapeutic approach is evidence-based & integrative. I have extensive trainings and experience in trauma therapy & dialectical behavioral therapy.

I use hypnotherapy as a means to help people heal from the inside out. After spending 20 years practicing as a physician healing patient's bodies, I now focus on the mind and mental health. Every human has the responsibility and the ability to love and care for themselves as much as they care for others in the world. Good mental health is the key to good physical health and to living a full, engaging life. I help people who suffer from negative self-talk, negative self-image and teach people how to find their true selves beneath all the distracting chatter that tends to go on in our heads. Inner freedom therapy's technique works well for anxiety or physical symptoms or pain that worsens at times of stress. It also works well to help you stop unwanted habits. I offer a free consultation and discussion with a link on my website, or give me a call or email to meet and discuss if you are a good match for Inner Freedom Therapy programs.
